The tremendous success of family teams results from having all team members conduct a letter-writing or video campaign. Last year alone, family teams raised more than $40 million. The letter-writing and video campaigns have proven to be the most effective (and easiest) ways to raise money for the Walk. By simply drafting a “Dear Family and Friends” letter or e-mail explaining why you and your family are participating in the JDRF walk, you can reach your largest audience without leaving the comfort of your own home! Campaigns can be enhanced by utilizing Walk 360, JDRF’s online fundraising headquarters. These letters can be your ticket to fundraising success- the average letter writing campaign raises $2,000!
